Born in Malaysia and based in Switzerland, DJ A87, aka Lani, channels her deep-rooted love for music into seamlessly curated sets. Influenced by her upbringing and cultural ties to Malaysia, South Africa, and Switzerland, she blends soulful amapiano, house, R&B, hip-hop and timeless classics into an eclectic, emotionally resonant sound.As one of the early champions of amapiano in Switzerland, Lani has helped introduce South African genres to new audiences and dance floors nationwide. She is part of the artist collective The O’s Circle and resident at the BackyardMix.In 2021, she co-founded Aweh Bash with her partner, Chief Biko and has since established herself within the Swiss club and festival scene, performing across Switzerland and Europe.
